Hugo Larsen was probably the most gifted Danish artist ever to visit the Danish West Indies (the present US Virgin Islands). What may be less known outside Denmark is that he was a brilliant portrait painter too. Take a look at his biography if you want to learn more about Hugo Larsen.
This page is part of Hugo Larsen's virtual gallery. Reproductions and other information about his portraits will be on display here. In other parts of the gallery you will find paintings and drawings from the Danish West Indies, other works and a number of sketches and drawings.
