Lauritz Howe: Blaagaardsgade, Copenhagen, 1930
Lauritz Howe had a wide range of motifs, but was particularly known for his paintings from the old Copenhagen, showing us the city of our grandparents. As can be seen, he did not select sightseeing points only, but often shows us the everyday life of ordinary people. Here we are in the middle of a working class district, more precisely in Blaagaardsgade on Nørrebro.
I am selling this painting, not because I don't like it, but because we have too little space on our walls. Rather than hiding it away, I would like to see an enthusiast own it.
