This picture marks the beginning of Hugo Larsen's 'manor years'. In 1914
Justus Ulrich invited Hugo Larsen to celebrate christmas on Ulrich's newly
purchased estate Ravnstrup. Through friends and friends' friends Hugo Larsen
visited a large number of the Danish estates for the years to come,
primarily to portray the inhabitants.
